Also kind of neat that you can watch replays from every play in the game at any time, though I’m not sure how much I’ll use it. The halftime segment, while not a fully-featured highlight show, is pretty cool. Other then that, things seemed pretty solid, beat the Browns with the Steelers 34-18. Combined 7 INTs, three fumbles, with another INT and spectacular return wiped out by a penalty. Went through my first franchise game, 7 minute quarters. One more button press then it was last year Other than those two things, I’m having a blast.įigured out the play art thing. I imagine both of these can be patched, but who knows if/when that will happen. Doesn’t help my wideouts before I get control of them, though. There is a Protect Ball button (R1 or RB), so that may alleviate a lot of these fumbles. I loaded up practice mode with LaDainian Tomlinson and ran about 100 running plays, and he fumbled three times, but two of them I was trying to fumble, hurdling into guys, spinning and juking all over. I’m going to play around with the other sliders to see. There isn’t a slider to adjust fumbles, so right now there doesn’t seem to be much to affect this.
In the first game I played with the Redskins, I had three fumbles in the first quarter, two by a WR and one by RB Clinton Portis. I have no idea what this will do – seems to me that it’ll make every good defensive back into a football god, if progressions follow. After one preseason game, the only people with one interception were in my game – every other player in the league that had one, had two. One, interceptions in simmed games are doubled for the defensive players. I played two short games last night on the PS3 version, and the two glitches I see reported on sites like Maddennation and Operation Sports (I’m looking for sliders, not posting there) are present.
